3 LAROC ITEMS UNDER $10!

These LAROC deals (listed under the VIP DISCOUNT tab on the site) will [la]rock your world:

Available in 9 shades and flavors, LORAC's Mocktail Lip Glosses are an affordable way to keep your puckers pleased and pretty! The glosses had been $10.oo each and are now only $3.00!

Regularly $17, this shadow is listed for a mere 4 buckaroos! Um, yes, sign me up! Beige is the perfect shade to use as a base, above your primer, but below all other shadowy goodness! You can also use beige to help blend rough edges on darker shadows and soften areas where you may have been a bit heavy handed when applying. An added perk - whereas shimmery finishes can sometimes emphasize creasing (from years of smiling, right?), the matte finish is friendly for all ages!

On Screen Duo originally rang up at $24.00 - now, at only $7.00, this product is a steal! The packaging is done no justice in the picture, in actuality, the product arrives in a functional container that is surprisingly compact for such a great amount of product. Use the highlighter along the brow bone and the cream as a gel-type liner or as a base for your darker pigmented shadows!

Gold Medalist Bronzers!

Finding yourself looking a little pale these days?
Seeking a quick-fix tan?
Not a big fan of basking in the sun sans SPF?

::Enter two bronzing products worthy of gold medals::

I, personally, am not partial to tanners that take 20 minutes to dry while I do the starfish-stance so as to prevent staining my household items and creating splotches on myself. ::Frown at the thought:: I dislike products that (unfathomably) require more maintenance than I do. For those like me - here are two products that give instant results:

At $3.80 this product is a steal! The Love & Beauty Shimmer Cream is concentrated enough for just a dab to be used as an effective cheek color - instant bronze and Mineral Oil free! Though the product declares itself a shimmer, it is extremely subtle, with the bronzing pigment being its most noticeable characteristic. Truly, more than a 1/4 of a dime-sized amount and you may begin to look a bit like Oscar from the Academy Awards; this product is extremely effective. Also, worry not that the cream will feel heavy and slick on your skin - it applies smoothly and rubs in without leaving a sticky sheen.

LORAC's TANtalizer Body Luminizer is a lotion-type formula with a luminous shimmery effect. The product isn't extremely pigmented, just enough to fake a starter tan with a soft glow. In addition to moisturizing and applying easily, TANtalizer out-performs in that it provides instant results with no starfish-stance necessary.

Fake it 'til you make it, Fabulous!

Product Review: Little Black Palette by LORAC

Source

LORAC has recently introduced a new shadow palette (quad) named Little Black Palette. Having had the occasion to use it on a client yesterday, I thought that it would be the perfect time for a review.

The palette comes in a small black and gold case that protect its contents: four shadows and a mini Behind the Scenes Eyeshadow Primer. I'd estimate the product's casing to be about 4" by 5" and 1" H.

Primer: Quite a small container, but the product should last about two months, I'd estimate, because you need very little. The consistency is similar to that of Urban Decay's Primer Potion. It emulsifies nicely, no clumping, rubs into the lid area becoming translucent. I'd say this primer size is perfect for the palette because it's concise enough to take with you on an overnight trip, or longer, and all you'd need to pack alongside it would be mascara and your brushes.

Shadows: Four shimmery shades: a very light gold, a soft beige, a dark gold with red-brown undertones, and a dark brown (sans red undertones) wearable for day and night looks. The shadows are well-pigmented, smooth to apply and are all you will need to create a smokey eye for the office or, if applied more dramatically, a night out. The shadows, as with any, can be applied wet or dry. The dark brown can be used wet with a hard angle brush along the lash-line as liner.

Overall: The product is a great deal as it has all the shades needed to create a neutral smokey eye. The lightest will be a great highlighter for the inner eye and along the brow bone. As far as cost, a single baked shadow by LORAC is $22, so at $32 this is not a bad deal by any means. The colors are wearable for any skin tone and any event! Although this product isn't very exciting, the colors are classic, I'd say it is a basic staple that you will find useful - hence "Little Black Palette."
